¨ Mediator or lawyer in hundreds of mediations and settlement conferences in family law over the past 30 years.
¨ Arbitrator in family law matters for Snohomish County Superior Court for over 25 years.
¨ Successful private conventional practice of law in Everett for nearly 30 years, 15 of which were exclusively family law; previously commercial, business, real estate and probate/guardianship.
¨ Training and experience as collaborative law practitioner, an alternate form of family law practice based on the same principles involved in mediation.
¨ Pro tempore (substitute) Snohomish County Superior Court Judge and Court Commissioner and Snohomish County Juvenile Court Judge and Court Commissioner.
¨ Chair of the Snohomish County Bar Association (SCBA) Family Law Section, 2003-2009; former Trustee of SCBA. The Attorney of the Year award from the Snohomish County Bar Association, 2004.
